Worried about Jen

April 23, 2003

Jen: I know my rights. I don't have to talk to you.

Nora: I'm not here from the D.A.'S office.

Jen: Then leave me alone.

Bo: Jen, I think you better go cool off.

Nora: You know what? Jen and I are going to talk.

*~*

Nora: Breaking and entering? Attempted burglary? The judge isn't about to be inclined to go easy on you.

Jen: That is my problem.

Nora: Yes, it is, Jen. Ok, I'm not going to push. Don't answer any questions unless you have your attorney present.

Jen: The only attorney I want is my father.

Officer: Hey, easy.

Nora: It's ok. It's ok.

Bo: Jen, you'll be staying with us until you're arraigned in the morning.

Jen: What, you mean in jail?

Bo: Jen, look, I know that it's a rough time right now, but it's not going to solve anything if you go around ripping off hotel guests.

Antonio: I'm going to finish the paperwork, commissioner.

Bo: All right. Keep her company in the interrogation room, ok? Just give me a minute.

Nora: Mm-hmm.

[Phone rings]

Joey: Hello?

Nora: Joey, it's Nora.

Joey: Hey. What's going on?

Nora: Aren't you working with Jen Rappaport, supervising her community service?

Joey: Trying.

Nora: Well, I thought you should know the police caught Jen breaking and entering in a hotel room at the palace.

Joey: What?

Nora: She's down here at the station in custody.

Joey: I'm on my way. I got to go. Somebody that I've been working with down at the center. I got to meet with them.

Jessica: Joey, did you drop this?

Joey: What?

Jessica: It's a card from Capricorn, and there's a phone number on the back with no name.

Joey: Nope, not mine. You will come with me to the Capricorn, right?

Jessica: I'll try. Thanks for the invite.

Joey: Be careful.

*~*

Bo: It's time, Jen.

Bo: Maybe a night in jail is what she need to shake her out of this.

Joey: I should have seen it coming.

Nora: Jen Rappaport committing robbery? Yeah, well, that's something we should've all seen coming.

*~*

Gabrielle: Bo was telling me how the judge made his ruling in record time, as well.

Nora: So Mitch Laurence obviously blackmailed Grafton or paid him off.

Hank: Or both.

Viki: And that, I'm sure, is the least of Mitch's crimes.

[Music plays]

Gabrielle: You know, a few days ago, I was afraid that we might never dance together again.

Bo: Oh, yeah. You didn't think that.

Gabrielle: Well, taking the letter and telling you about Matthew -- yes.

Bo: Yeah, but all the hours I've been putting in in this place -- I mean, you didn't really have much of a chance to tell me. And besides, you did tell me.

Gabrielle: I am so glad that we're ok.

Bo: After everything that we've been through? Yeah, we're ok.
