Party In Angel Square

May 27, 2003

Bo: Walker Flynn? or is it Walker Lawrence?

Walker: Laurence. I'm Mitch's brother.

Nora: Then why did you sign in at St. Ann's as Flynn?

Walker: It's the name of the family that raised me, and I've gone by it. You were looking for me?

Bo: Last night, a woman was almost killed at St. Ann's. Lindsay Rappaport was in the room, but she said she didn't do it. Now, right before that happened, you paid Lindsay a visit?

Walker: Mm-hmm, I saw her.

Bo: Why?

Walker: She knew my brother. I thought she could help me understand how he died.

*~*

Nora: What made you think that Lindsay Rappaport had information about your brother's death?

Walker: Because I read in the papers a lot of accusations she made against him. By the way, have you found her?

Bo: Let us ask the questions. Did you find out anything specific from Lindsay?

Walker: No, not directly but she had something to do with Mitch's death. I'd stake my life on that.

*~*

Bo: I don't know what your brother told you, but he's not the good guy here.

Walker: He said the police were harassing him with false accusations.

Nora: They're not false accusations. You know that he has a daughter. Do you realize that she's the result of a rape?

Walker: I hear her mother has a lot of mental problems.

Bo: He kidnapped his wife's niece because he wanted to exchange her for his ex-wife, Natalie. So he could have Natalie's heart cut out and then transplanted to a sick, rich, dying old man. Now, that doesn't sound like a psycho to you?

Walker: Part of the harassment is making up these lies.

Bo: I caught him in the act. It's not a lie and we know for a fact that he arranged for a judge to be murdered. He also killed his own right-hand man. Now, I got that story from the victim himself right before he died.

Walker: I see. So you've -- you've tried and convicted him when he isn't even here to defend himself.

Bo: Mr. Laurence, I know that he's your brother, and this is all really hard to take -- I understand that -- but Mitch hurt a lot of people. No one's sorry to see him gone.

*~*

Bo: What else happened when you visited Lindsay?

Walker: Why?

Bo: Because we're just trying to figure out why she would try to kill another patient -- if, in fact, she did try.

Walker: You don't think so?

Bo: That's what we're trying to find out.

Walker: You have other suspects?

Bo: Other things we're checking out.

Walker: Me. That's why you wanted to see me.

Nora: We wanted to ask you questions.

Walker: Like?

Nora: How was Lindsay when you saw her?

Walker: Pretty tripped-out.

Nora: Did you confront her about the accusation she allegedly made against your brother?

Walker: Am I on trial here?

Nora: We believe your brother drove Lindsay Rappaport to kill a man. He gave her means, opportunity, motive, and then he manipulated her into the act.

Bo: He was getting desperate at the end. His crimes became more frequent, they were more violent. and I have no doubt in my mind that he would kill again if he was still alive.

Walker: Any more questions?

Bo: No, I think that's it for now. Where can we find you if --

Walker: Palace hotel. I got to go. There's business I need to take care of.

*~*

Max: So anyway, R.J. Still doesn't know that I'm the one that told the police what he was up to. Why don't we just go home?

Gabrielle: No, I'm not leaving, not till Bo gets here.

Max: Hmm. Are you familiar with the expression "when pigs fly"? Guess I'd better watch out. Hey, they're cutting the cake. I think I'll get me some.

Gabrielle: Oh.

Bo: I'm sorry I'm late.

Gabrielle: Oh, I'm just so glad you're here. Did everything go well? You and Nora sort it out?

Bo: You know, I don't even want to talk about it now.

Nora: Well, at the risk of being a party-pooper, you should know Mitch Lawrence's brother is in town.

Jessica: Yeah, I know, I met him.

Nora: You knew?

Antonio: Wait a second, why didn't you say something?

Jessica: What did you want me to say?

Antonio: Well, why -- I mean, what did he want?

Jessica: He just wanted to know about Mitch's death.

Nora: That's exactly what he asked Lindsay.

Jessica: He contacted Lindsay?

Nora: Well, he went the night that Addie Cramer was attacked. But what the big question is, why didn't he go to the police? Why did he go to you and Lindsay first?

*~*

Nora: Seems like Mitch's brother, Walker, is making the rounds.

Bo: Is he here?

Nora: No, but he paid a visit to Jessica.

Bo: Why?

Nora: Same reason as Lindsay.

Bo: Wonder who else he feels like he has to see.

*~*

Max: You ok?

Gabrielle: Yes, Max. Bo loves me, and it doesn't matter that he has a child with Nora because she's not my competition. Perhaps his work is my competition, but not Nora.

Bo: What's your take on Walker Lawrence?

Nora: Well, he's sort of a straight arrow. But he is Mitch's brother.

Bo: And I think that's reason enough not to trust him.
