Marcie Needs a Job

May 16, 2003

Jessica: Mitch left everything to me?

Joey: Good. you know what? Good. You deserve it.

Bo: I think it's a nice irony. Well, I guess you heard. I mean, Jess gets everything. You know, she gets the house, the grounds, every stick of furniture, every blade of grass. But you got nothing.

Viki: No.

*~*

Dorian: How could Mitch do this to me? After everything I sacrificed? After everything that I did?

Viki: Like trying to make him think he was going insane?

Dorian: He's spitting at me from the grave, changing a will that we agreed on, a will that he showed me, and leaving everything to a daughter that he never knew, a daughter who never cared about him, a daughter who hated his guts until she had a bout of remorse after she had blinded him.

Viki: That's enough, Dorian.

Dorian: You knew about this. Yes, you did.

Jessica: No, I didn't.

Dorian: Of course. That's why you're here. You came to gloat.

Jessica: I swear, Dorian, it's out of the blue. I --

Dorian: I don't believe you. No wonder. I trusted you. You were so eager to go along with --

Jessica: Stop it! I have to go.

Dorian: Yes, good. I'd like you all to go. In fact, this is still my house. I'm ordering you to go.

Bo: Well, folks, I think that's a good idea. Why don't we just --

Joey: Dorian --

Dorian: And don't look at me like that. Just leave.

Dorian: No! No, no, no, no, no, no, no!

Bo: I don't think she's taking it very well.

Gabrielle: Oh. I know you're busy. I know you have a lot on your plate.

Bo: Oh, yeah, what's new?

Gabrielle: Marcie, I don't get to see him very much. You know Marcie and what a good friend she is to Al.

Bo: Oh, I sure do.

Gabrielle: Well, see, the thing is she's looking for a job, and so I thought of that receptionist position that you were hoping to fill.

Marcie: Working for the police station would be awesome.

Bo: Oh, it's awesome. but, you know, human resources does all the hiring. Of course, a recommendation from you -- that can't hurt.

Gabrielle: Thank you, darling. of course a recommendation from somebody else that we know couldn't hurt, either.

Bo: Ok. why don't I ask you a few questions, ok? and then I'll get a sense if you're really qualified.

Gabrielle: Oh, she's going to qualify, all right. She is.

Marcie: And if I do, well, then what happens?

Bo: Well, then I will speak to human resources, and then I will give them my personal recommendation.

Marcie: And that would help, right?

Gabrielle: Yeah.

Marcie: Of course it would. I say dumb things -- well, sometimes.

Bo: Ok.

Marcie: Sorry.

Bo: It's ok.

Rex: Look, this is a setup. I'll sue, I swear. You've got nothing on me.

Bo: What's going on?

Antonio: Petty larceny. Caught him dead to rights. Book him and cage him.

Rex: Look, what the hell are you guys doing? This is insane.

Officer: Come on, come on. Let's go.

Rex: I want a lawyer!

Bo: Want to tell me what's going on?

Antonio: Um -- I set him up.

Bo: Because --

Antonio: Well, one, because I -- I want him to know what it's like to be in jail. And two, because I want him completely unavailable for this job that Avery and R.J. Are trying to pull off.

Cristian: So I get to be the driver, or what?

Antonio: No. No way, no how. all right? Avery's too unpredictable and too dangerous.
