Clint Comes Home

May 23, 2003

Asa: Well, hell. come here, son! oh, it's been so long, I'm surprised I even recognize you.

Clint: Good to see you, pa.

Asa: Oh, good to see me? Hey, what do you think of your big brother here, huh?

Bo: Is he here? excuse me. about time you showed your face around here.

Asa: Come on.

Bo: Well, let's set fire to a couple of these, huh?

*~*

Clint: No, London's a good place to live, but I miss my family.

Bo: Well, we miss you.

Clint: Well, just how serious is this thing between you and Gabrielle Medina?

Bo: Serious.

Asa: I've never had much good to say about her, Clint, but she seems to make him happy.

Bo: Yes, she does. She makes me very happy. now with Mitch Laurence out of the way, I think we'll probably have a little free time that we can actually spend with one another.

Clint: It's a good thing that bastard's dead, or I'd chuck him in the river myself.

Asa: Now, that's the way a true Buchanan should think, not this due process bull. why don't you move back here, Clint, and live in Llanview again. Jessica needs you. I need you, too.

Bo: And you do have another daughter. I think Natalie would love to know what it's like to have her dad around.

*~*

Cristian: Well, Mr.. Buchanan hasn't said that I can leave yet. Plus, you know, I'm working. I'm not part of the family --

Asa: Cristian. I don't pay you to stand around yakking with the women. when I call you, you come. now, I've been looking all over the damn place for you. go in the kitchen, tell the cooks I've changed my mind. we're going to have steaks tonight.

Cristian: What about the barbecue that's already been cooked?

Asa: What about it? Pack it up, put in your car, drive it to some homeless shelter, but get in the kitchen and have those cooks rustle up some t-bone steaks, pronto.

*~*

Cristian: I'm a driver, Mr.. Buchanan, not an errand boy or a whipping boy. I quit.

Asa: You don't quit, I fired you!

*~*

Asa: Welcome home, Clint. and we're all damn glad to see you. we've missed you, and I think we all love you.

Joey: Hear, hear.

Asa: But that doesn't mean I forgive you for not sticking around much longer.

Bo: Oh, here we go.

Asa: Heck, you didn't even give me time to complain about how long you were gone.

Clint: Pa, I'll come home more often, I promise. you got my word on it.

Asa: I hope so. you know why we're all sitting around here tonight, getting stronger all the time? because we're family. nobody puts the Buchanan's down because we stick together. to the family. to my son Clint.

*~*

Antonio: Commissioner?

Bo: Hmm?

Antonio: Sorry to disturb you, but I need to speak with you.

Bo: I'm sorry, folks. I have a little problem I have to deal with. thanks for dinner, pa. anyway, I'll be seeing you, Clint.

Viki: Take care.

*~*

Sister Mary: How could this happen?

Bo: She may not make it.

Sister Mary: Addie came to sleep in here because of the storm.

Nun: Lindsay said she came back from the reading room and found her. She screamed, and we came running.

Bo: Was Lindsay holding the pillow?

Lindsay: No. No, no, it's not what you think. I just took the pillow off of her face. I swear. I would never -- I would never kill Addie. I --

Bo: Have Harris take Lindsay into custody.

Lindsay: No, please! I didn't do it! I didn't do it! Doesn't anybody believe me? I didn't do it!

*~*

Antonio: Commissioner!

Bo: Yeah?

Antonio: Commissioner, she's gone!

Bo: What?

Antonio: Lindsay -- she's gone. Harris was putting her in the car, and she took off running into the woods. She's disappeared.

Bo: Get a search party out there.
