Part Six:

Bo wakes up when he hears her soft coos coming from the baby monitor. Nora shifts in her sleep but doesn’t wake. Bo softly kisses her temple before quietly climbing off the bed. He walks down the hallway and glances into Matthew’s room, missing him while he spends time with Asa and Renee at the ranch on his three days off from school.

Bo walks into the room and walks over to her crib. He looks down at her and smiles when she turns her head to look at him, returning his smile. He places his hand on her forehead, “Well it looks like the fevers all gone, little one.”

Nora turns and reaches out for him, opening her eyes when she realizes he’s not there. She stretches and smiles when she hears him talking to the baby through the monitor. She climbs off the bed and walks down the hallway. She walks up behind him while he’s standing at the changing table and begins to kiss his neck, wrapping her arms around him from behind.

Bo smiles down at Amalya who is smiling up at her grandparents, “I think Grandma is feeling better, don’t you?”

“I’m feeling a lot more than better,” she says, nibbling his neck.

She leans in and begins to whisper in his ear. Bo smiles and lifts Amalya off the changing table and lays her down in the crib. He turns around and takes Nora in his arms, “Well then, I think we better take this, down the hall.”

She takes his hand and leads him out of the room, closing the door and turning out the light. She leads him down the hallway towards her bedroom. They walk into the room, stopping in the middle of the room as he pulls her to him. He captures her mouth in a kiss as their bodies begin to sway back and forth to music only they can hear.

Nora breaks their kiss and looks into his eyes, “I love you so much Bo. You’re every thing I’ve been searching for all these years, you’re the answer to all my prayers, and I want to show you tonight just how much I’ve missed and need you.”

Bo leans in and kisses her, breaking their kiss after a few minutes. He leans his forehead against hers, “You’re my every thing Nora, and tonight I’m going to show you just how much I have also missed and need you.”

He pulls her into another passionate kiss as he slowly leads her towards the bed. They stop at the end of the bed, his lips moving onto her neck as she brings their intertwined hands up to her mouth, drawing his finger into her mouth as he nibbles on her neck.

The road ain’t always clear and easy.

I’ve missed a turn or two along the way.

But now it’s hard not to be thankful.

Cuz everything that I’ve been through has led me right here to you.

She reaches between them, unbuttoning his shirt while he runs his hands underneath her t-shirt, his hands traveling across her stomach and up to her breast, running his hands across the satin material. He breaks contact with her neck as he lifts her shirt over her head, bringing his lips down onto her chest, while she slips his shirt down his arms.

He turns her, gently laying her down on the bed, his mouth never leaving the delicate skin of her chest. She wraps her arms around his neck, her fingers running through the hair at the base of his neck and down his back.

You are the light upon my path

The singing in my soul

The sweetness on my lips

The half that makes me whole

You are the spark of inspiration

The faith that pulls me through

To every single prayer I’ve ever whispered, the answer is you.

The answer is you.

He reaches between them and unfastens her bra, releasing her breasts from their satin restraints. He brings his lips onto her shoulder as he slowly lowers the straps down her arms, following their path with his lips. He kisses the scar that mars her wrist, pushing aside the memory that flashes before his eyes of that night he almost lost her.

The gentleness of his kisses across her wrist brings tears to her eyes, as she too forces back the memory his single gesture invokes. He kisses up her arm and across her chest, finally taking her breast in his mouth. She arches against him, the feel of his mouth sending her senses on overload.

I may not always be the hero

And every day might not be a fairytale

But I just find you so amazing

I can’t imagine where I’d be without you here with me.

He sits up for a moment and their eyes lock. He runs his hand down her cheek, her neck, down her chest and down the valley between her breasts. He runs his hand down her stomach, memorizing once again how she feels beneath his skin. He undoes the button of her jeans, slowly lowering the zipper as their eyes remained locked on one another.

She lifts her hips as he slowly lowers her jeans. He leans down and kisses across her stomach as he lowers her panties down her hips, adding them to the jeans and bra that lie on the floor.

She reaches between them and unfastens his belt, pulling it through the loops of his pants in one swift motion. She makes quick work of the button and zipper. She slips them over his hips and he kicks free of them as his lips travel up her stomach, taking her breast in his mouth once again.

She slips her fingers into the sides of his boxers slipping them off his hips, finally revealing him to her. He moans against her breast as she takes him in her hand, pleasuring him like none before or after her has.

You are the light upon my path

The singing in my soul

The sweetness on my lips

The half that makes me whole

You are the spark of inspiration

The faith that pulls me through

To every single prayer I’ve ever whispered, the answer is you.

The answer is you.

His tongue travels down between her breasts, his lips caressing her skin as he kisses down her stomach; the taste of her is so intoxicating he can barely breathe. He travels lower, her hand breaking contact with him as he begins to kiss down her thigh. He nibbles on the skin behind her knee before traveling down her calf. He kisses back up her other leg as he reaches up and takes her hands in his, raising them above her head.

And I will be your strength

And I will cover you with love

You never have to find your way alone

He kisses back up her stomach, caressing her breasts with his tongue before capturing her mouth in a passionate kiss. He breaks their kiss and looks at her, their eyes locking as he slowly enters her. She whispers his name, fresh tears welling up in their eyes as their bodies fall into their perfect rhythm.

I’ll be the light upon your path

The singing in your soul

The touch that leaves you breathless

The arms that won’t let go

I’ll be the shelter you can run to when storms are passing through

And if you ask me what I’m living for

The answer is you

He brings his mouth back down onto hers, parting her lips with his tongue as he moves within her. He breaks their kiss, moving his lips onto her neck, her tears falling against his cheek. Every movement, every touch, every sound brings them home, bringing them back to where they’ve always belonged.

Their bodies move, the moonlight filtering through the window reflecting off their skin. They soon give into their release, her tears continuing to fall against his shoulder as he holds her close.

He lies down beside her, pulling her against him. She lays her head on his chest, feeling his heart beating against her. He feels her tears on his skin. She lifts her head up off his chest and looks into his eyes, the moonlight silhouetting his face, “I…I’ve prayed for this day so many times since I woke up in that hospital bed four years ago, only remembering my life with you. I knew there was something missing in my life and I knew what it was, I just had no idea how to get it back. Then life just seemed to move us in different directions, to different loves, but it was always you, Bo…always you.”

He reaches out and wipes the tears off her cheek, “It broke my heart that day to tell you that we were divorced, that every thing you remembered was over. I buried my feelings so deep within that I thought they had disappeared, but they hadn’t. We have always been connected. It’s always been you that I’m supposed to spend the rest of my life with. You’re all my dreams rolled into one Nora, you and Matthew. You’re the answer to every prayer I’ve ever prayed.

She leans in and kisses him, their desire for one another growing once again with each touch and each kiss, and their dance begins again.

Yeah Yeah

The answer is you

Yeah Yeah

The answer is you

The answer is you
